Independent of Solution Area, Inzyon applies a common and straight forward delivery model that is similar in all customer projects. It starts with an Information Modelling phase, followed by system set-up and training. Should it be that the customer lack internal resources for the day to day operation of the solution, Inzyon offers different levels of outsources systems management.
The first step in any implementation of insights management and solutions must be a reviewed information model. The structures that underlies, and drives, the retrieving, storing, sharing, dissemination and availability of information in the organizations processes or line operations is at the very heart of any forthcoming insights enabling solution. It is however important to recognize that it is not the traditional database models that are contemplated here. To configure an insight engine environment the model must be fully context driven, taking the organization’s business environment, or operations scope, into account in order to efficiently support insights creation and decision making.
The scope and size of the modelling is depending on the size of the customer’s organization as well as on the operations area that is being targeted. In either case, the information modelling consists of interviews/workshops and is concluded with a written specification for the next step in the project. In the most rapid projects this phase can be limited to two days only and in larger projects the time frame can be weeks.
A crucial aspect and outcome of the information modelling is also an articulation of HOW your particular Enterprise Insight Solution will bring the business value sought for to the operation addressed.
Solution and system setup
Depending on the outcome from the information modelling, different approaches may be required but the system set-up always includes configuration tasks such as:
- Information structure implementation
- Dashboard design
- Sources connections set-up and automation
- User account set up
The results from the modelling phase will be implemented and the customer provided with log-in credentials to its new insights environment. For the customer project team, this phase tends to be an iterative process in which frequent feedback loops are undertaken as the systems configuration is gradually completed.
Also, as part of this phase, a communication plan is developed for the purpose of informing the forthcoming users in the organization about the new tools and techniques available. No insight environment will bring a value to the operations unless people are aware of, and familiar with, its existence and guidelines.
Parallel to the Set-up phase, a training program often commence. It is entirely customized and specified together with the customer’s project team. The primary model is a “train the trainer program” with the goal to enable the customer’s own staff to undertake the internal training. This model is to prefer as in-house staff, much better than any consultants, can present the new environment in the context of the own company’s needs and processes. If, for any reason, this is not feasible, Inzyon can be engaged to maintain a long-term training capability for your particular organization in order to make sure it is continuously up to date.
All training can be delivered as on-site training, webinars and customized e-learning solutions.
Outsourced system management
Should it be that the customer for any reason lacks the capacity to manage and maintain the software environment that is set-up for the insight solution, Inzyon can be engaged on a retainer basis to oversee the entire systems management or parts thereof. Components that can be outsourced are:
- Information structure reviews and updates
- Dashboard reviews and updates
- Sources reviews and updates
- User reviews and updates
In addition, Inzyon can be engaged to support management with ongoing advisory services as agreed from time to time.
